I'm so tired over the last 2 days
Do you know what happens when you get a new cell phone? I don't remember any of this!!!!!
Hello, hello, and have I got a story for you!!
Hope your first two weeks of 2024 were fabulously uneventful!! Here’s mine…..
I know some things. I have been working a lot at the restaurant since Christmas. The days between Christmas and New Year, I wrote down some things I wanted to do this year, and I’ve hit the ground running.
Not only did I post those Pinky NFTs on Objkt, I joined an artist community. I know!!! The wildest part is I have been getting these newsletters from them, thinking they were someone else.
As you probably have five or more (I had 10, now 4 or 5)newsletters coming to your inbox, I think you get it. They’re The Hug Community, hug.xyz, and the emails were from Creator Royalties Hug and of course, I’m old and cautious, I’m not gonna open an email talking royalties, even if it was one I had to sign up for umpteen months ago. Did I remember doing it? Of course not.
Something I wrote down for 2024 was to get my art out there as NFTs, in the crypto world. I see the peer-to-peer transactions of crypto as a plus. I will be able to keep more of the money from sales and help more people.
This year, I am tackling experiential learning of crypto wallets. I can already say from experience what not to do in crypto. I am sorting through my wallets now, some lost forever, some I have forgotten, seed phrases collecting.
I recently experienced and succeeded in converting one cryptocurrency to another. I also have succeeded multiple times in sending cryptocurrency from one wallet to another.
Months ago, when I got scammed, I learned how to look up cryptocurrency transactions and follow where they end up. This week sending cryptocurrency from one wallet to another then having it automatically converted to another cryptocurrency, an error occurred. Because I have done so much DYOR and experiential learning, I reached out to someone on Telegram ( I know, I’m on all kinds of these apps) and I understood the instructions of what screen shots of what part of the transactions and where to send them so they could fix the error on their end and with one or two clicks ( what ever they did) things were fine.
My first wallet (or two) did I write down the ever-important password (seed phrase)? I did not. Have I kept my passwords of multiple crypto wallets in one place? No, I have not. Do I have unidentifiable passwords, one’s without knowing what wallet they go to? Yes, yes, I do. And as you know, I took an unknown, non-descript seed phrase and it became my FUBAR of the Metamask on my computer. I later found out, it was the seed phrase for Coinbase.
My focus is to get the wallet(s) situation sorted as I upload my NFT collections and build new connections. I have confidence with the knowledge I’ve gained over the last two years, I know who to go to for help. I have learned what not to do in crypto too many times.
My focus is also on more decentralized social media platforms. I’ve been practicing for a while on a few, some more successful than others. I have been on some platforms where people buy my posts, yes, buy my posts. I’m on other platforms where you buy an NFT to be part of a community within the platform. There are platforms that have many different applications connected to one another. I post on one and my post goes to all the applications.
This week I had the pleasure of getting a new phone. This was not on my bingo card! I dropped mine so many times, it was way “buggy”, as it was put to me by the Verizon tech guy.
I have to tell you, the Verizon tech guy is the same guy from two years ago. We went to our first crypto event together. Since then, he experienced NFTs and utilities from a local sports-based community. He went to local professional baseball and football games, and had some fabulous meet-ups and experiences. It was nice to catch up.
My phone situation sent me on a forced tirade. The one where I tore my house apart looking for journal books, spiral notebooks, scrap pieces of paper that would have my most important seed phrases, passwords, to all my crypto wallets. I can tell you what not to do in crypto.
I stated earlier that I have one or two wallets that I did not write down the passwords, or seed phrases. Those accounts are lost without them. I started writing seed phrases down, however, not all in one place.
I spent hours going through my journals and other notebooks finding many seed phrases, labeled to which wallets they go to and all of that.
I not only found all the ones I needed but then some. I have two seed phrases I know not where they belong. After two years of scattered cryptocurrencies in multiple wallets, I am relieved.
My next step is the uploading of NFTs and yes, I still have a situation with OpenSea and Metamask. I am looking at alternate marketplaces until that gets fixed.
I’ve been doing my journals, morning pages, taking extended walks by the canal and a lot of what I consider throw away art, just fun A.I. videos and photos to distract me from what I should be doing. LOL.
If you’ve been following my journey the past few years, you know, I knew nothing when I started. I did all of this to stay relevant, to not get left behind. I’ve met some amazing people along the way. In 2024, I look forward to the people I meet.
I have entered many decentralized social media networks. I have been on quite a few for quite a while, however, I seem to gravitate towards the decentralized social media now more than I would say, TikTok or Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. I still am active somewhat on all of them, have my foot in the door so to speak ( & will continue to do so), but, as time moves forward, I am developing and focusing more on the decentralized networks.
I perused the Onboard60 Executive Summary I created in April of 2022, and I have done more than I ever dreamed. I have a solid foundation for Onboard60 to continue forward in all areas. Onboard60 will continue on X spaces on Mondays at 1pm EST with topics for Web3 Noobies. I will continue to share my experiences and what’s happening in my journey.
Onboard60 will develop a Spatial auditorium in February, for expert speakers, AMA discussions and panels. This will be open to anyone curious in learning Web3.
The books, Web3, A.I. & the Metaverse and A Handbook for Noobies(out soon) are for those curious about Web3 or are new to navigating Web3 and want to learn how to navigate successfully in a short time. I will continue to have them available in my Stan Store and on Amazon.

The next phase of Onboard60 is incorporating others within the Onboard60 ecosystem. What does that mean? This comes in February when I start having ART SHOWs on Spatial, not just for my NFTs, but for guests to share their art. Also in February, I will be hosting panels, speakers, AMA discussions on Spatial.
I call this phase “The Portal to Web3”. There will be experiential learning in virtual spaces, Web2 spaces and decentralized social media. It is time for me to share with others what I’ve learned up to now and hopefully they will walk through the portal with me. Will you?
Be fabulous,
Sandra Abrams, Onboard60 Founder
